Pastor's Corner

You are eternally accountable for the influence God has given you in this life. What you do with that influence in this world matters forever. God will ask everyone in His judgment, " What did you do with the time, resources, and influence I gave you?" If you are not influencing others they are influencing you, and when you are unaware of the power that others have over you, you will allow your heart to compromise. Lot failed to influence cities of the plain in which he lived even though he was distressed by the filthy deeds he saw and the things he heard, he was still willing to tolerate the wickedness of Sodom for the social and material advantage. This compromise brought tragedy to his family. Christian Leaders are to influence people for the Kingdom Of God, and not for ourselves. God expects us to use our influence for His Kingdom. Franklyn D. Roosevelt had great influence on the American people during World War 11, by confidently standing and declaring in his speech after the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941 " No matter how long it may take us to overcome this premeditated invasion, the American people, in their righteous might, will win through absolute victory" Influence is the ability to impact others in their decision making. Are you impacting others to make right decisions for Christ and His Church. Do you use your influence to bring out the best in others. Church, can we get to the place where we will use all our God given talents to influence others in making the life changing decision to serve Christ. Yes we can
